You can only imagine the lonely life of a senior parent living in a retirement home. How would it change their life if once a week Karl and the wagon could stop by and give rides, reminding them of the best times in their lives.
One of our dreams is to have horse drawn wagon built like this but only with a canopy for rain and sun protection. We would like to use Karl to pull this wagon weekly to town and give rides to Senior Citizens. This wagon has a electric wheel chair lift to assist our wheel

chair bound friends. This wagon was built for approx $6,000 in 2004. We have to get a current price. If you would be interested in donating towards the wagon please let us know.
We Need Volunteers! This is a great opportunity to have hands-on experience with Our riders. No experience with horses or individuals with disabilities is necessary. Each rider needs as many as 4 volunteers to groom and tack the horse, assist the rider, lead the horse, and work in the barn. We also could use help in planting, mowing, help on many of our future projects and there is always a need in fundraising.
We Need Professionals! Double D Ranch is currently seeking physical, occupational, or recreational therapists to join our team.
